Hey guys, Hyde here... finally. First, I want to apologize to the community real quick on my absence. I promised at least one new guide video this past week and my current weekly total is zero. I’m not in the habit of giving excuses, but it’s been a rough week of life hitting hard, and I’m now currently in the process of finding a new job quickly to not get behind on bills. So please understand that I do not currently make revenue from YouTube, so I must first focus on getting bills paid. That said, I do have the next guide mostly recorded and nearly ready to edit, so I’m hoping to get it out this week. I’ll leave it a surprise which one is coming this week, but I do hope to get you guys some new content soon.

(I bring this up because I have gotten a handful of messages asking about the next guide and I just wanted to address all of them at once via a public update)

I do want to address some other things real quick too while I have your attention.

Filthy Casuals, I want to thank you all right now for the amazing support I’ve gotten so far from the community. In the short time I’ve been doing my guide series, you’ve helped double my subs and my views have gone up exponentially. My self imposed goal of 50 subs was blasted through in a week. I’m no Skooled Zone, but you guys have made me feel like my guides are worth the effort, and I thank you.

So far, my guides have been exclusive to this sub, but once I do the fifth, I hope to share the group of first five in some other places just to hopefully reach others who may need said guides too. That said, Filthy Casuals is the home of my guide series and will always get first dibs on requests, new content, and any major updates. I have a list of previous requests on hand currently, and I’m always accepting questions or guide requests from this sub, so feel free to ask whatever you may need help on and I’ll see how I can best help.

Guides are what I’ve been doing lately, and I do have a decent back catalog of guides I’m in the process of recording, but I feel I should warn people that there are other things in the works as well. I’m finishing up another camp showcase currently, plus I have another one planned after that. There is also guides for other games planned, as well as some random other things coming down the pipeline.

Random questions I’ve gotten, speed round....

“Do you plan on doing Apex Guides?” No, legitimately haven’t played Apex yet, battle royals aren’t my thing.

“Why do you have less than 100 subs?” Before I started posting here, I hadn’t really promoted anything on my channel much as I’ve mostly just done it for fun. This is the first I’ve begun pushing anything, but I’m optimistic, hope to break 100 by Easter.

“Will you do guides for X game?” Maybe? Hard to say. I have an Xbox One, and that’s about it currently. And even then I don’t tend to buy too many games as I’m with a pretty limited income as it is, got a family to worry about. If it’s a free game available on Xbox, let me know what you need and I’ll see what I can do. But if it’s a paid game, it will mostly depend on if I have it, or if I don’t have it... well, if I don’t, I can still do a guide, but I’ll need to do a lot of research to make sure my info is totally correct, and I would need the gameplay footage to go with it. So it’s possible, but unlikely. Never saying never, so you’re free to ask, but no promises.

“Can I be in your video/can I play 76 with you?” I play on Xbox One. If you do too, and you see me online, you are MORE than free to join in and come with me. I always welcome the company of a filthy casual! I don’t use voice chat super often as 76 is kind of my chill out game. But if I’m filming a video or live-streaming, you are more than welcome to tag along and help out unless I State otherwise (some guides need to be solo).

I mainly wanted to give an update on the state of things because of messages I’ve gotten, but I also don’t want to make this too long as it doesn’t have a TON to do with the game. But to the people who sent me messages, I wanted you to know I’m not ignoring you, I just figured it would be easier to answer it all in one post as most of the questions were fairly similar. If you guys have any other questions that I haven’t covered, feel free to ask me here, I’ll do my best to answer quickly.
