So I recently got fallout 76 through the free give away on the Microsoft store but when I play the game even though my ps5 controller is connected by a cord it refuses to let me use it as a way to play. And trying to add the game through steam as a non steam game doesn't work either. It just says performing first step an then the game closes. I have my pc set up on my main TV so I can play from the couch so having this controller is kind of a necessity. So my main question is does anyone have a solution to get it to boot through steam so it recognizes my controller OR does someone have another solution maybe through the Microsoft app or something to force fallout 76 to use a controller?
