Unlinking Steam from Bethesda account

I want to unlink my Steam from my Bethesda account because it's connected to my 2nd account which I now don't use. When I sent a support ticket to unlink it I got told this: Please be aware that unlinking your Bethesda.net account has several effects. You lose access to content in the below Bethesda.net compatible titles as follows: Fallout 76 - All Game Progress Data, this includes characters, purchases and Fallout 1st membership. So if I unlink that Steam account will I lose my progress and data only on the Steam account or both Steam and Bethesda?
