Just wondering if anyone has a secret to getting my headphones to pick up sounds again.

The weird thing: if I load the game up with my headphones as default sound I hear the Bethesda title screen but when it goes to the screen of Foundation? Nothing ever again.

Things I've done: Google searched, found a few options off of reddit and the bethesda site that had some interesting options but none of them seem to work. There was one about changing the audio to 16 bit but that option straight up doesn't show to me, only something about cassette quality (lol), I also deleted and reinstalled the game. any tips or advice would be appreciated.
