Hunger and Thirst penalties was supposed to be removed for One Wasteland, but it's looking like that was scrapped
Post Body

There was an interview about three months ago and it said one important thing that I've been looking forward to for a while now.

Another big change for One Wasteland is the removal of Fallout 76’s negative survival elements. As it stands right now, if you don’t eat or drink for a while in the game, you’ll find yourself struggling on with a heavy debuff. But in One Wasteland, there will be no penalties, only bonuses for those who take the time to quaff and scarf all they find. “We want the flavor of survival without the drudgery,” Gardiner said.

Basically you'd only have to eat and drink if you wanted the wed fed/hydrated bonuses and wouldn't suffer any penalties if you didn't want to deal with the survival elements. Obviously One Wasteland isn't out yet but the release is imminent and this hasn't hit the PTS at any moment during the testing and it's looking like the hunger and thirst system will (unfortunately) stay as it is.

How would you feel about the removal of the negatives of not eating/drinking?
