I lean a bit towards the casual side being a level 32 rifleman, however I understand the gripes over the previous patch regarding the two shot perk. For those unaware, they took it from 100% to 25%. I personally think it would be a better solution to make it ACTUALLY TAKE TWO SHOTS FROM THE MAG, CLIP,DRUM,ETC. Hear me out... auto users with 30 rounds would essentially double fire rate without making the gun act ridiculous at the expense of a much quicker mag dump, lever and hunting rifles would have the double damage at the risk of missing two out of an already small mag/tube, same with pistol (revolver) users. Everyone would be effected in a positive and negative way giving it a nice risk/reward trade off. Also to make it fair if you have five shots and fire two doubles make the last one only damage for one. this would force players to watch there ammo and current mag more while still achieving the much sought after double damage per trigger pull. It wouldn't be as overpowered as its' current state but would still be useful. Also I apologize for the bad sentence structure, I'm very tired.
TL;DR - Make the two shot perk use two bullets from the mag, achieving the double damage but with a more balanced side effect of forcing more reloads, instead of a freebee 2x damage booster
EDIT: Also as a side note. Since they took away explosive mod for energy weapons, maybe introduce a new mod like "critical beam" or "hyper capacitor" or something like that. Maybe one could burn through x number of living targets, and the other could be a ricochet round that bounces off of x number of surfaces before stopping. Sounds pretty lasery to me
