So last night my husband and I are playing…he does the wasteland exploring, I like to do the camp building (we’re pretty new to it, lvl 113). He finishes Uranium Fever and goes to Whitespring Station to scrap and sell off the junk. He gets up for a minute and I take over, and go to the vendor looking for any new camp plans or items.

As I’m running through the plans I come across one I haven’t seen before, and boy did I get excited. I do a fair amount of research as we play and I had never seen or heard of this plan before. I am now standing up on the couch yelling to him, “Hunny!!! I think I found you a new weapon!”

He walks back into the living room as I am grinning and pointing to the screen, extremely proud of what I’ve found. He looks at the screen, looks back at me with a puzzled look, and all of a sudden just starts laughing. Like, so hard that he can’t speak. After a minute of me asking what was happening, he regroups enough to catch his breath and just makes a ‘finger gun’ and goes, “pew pew pew,” to me before absolutely losing it again.

I am so embarrassed now, realizing that the “short pew” plan which I thought was for a tiny little gun…was for a bench.

So why aren’t there pictures of the item with the plans? Is it so people just don’t think they’re getting the item itself?

Well, he decided to take it one step further and asked AI to make a few mock-ups of a ‘short pew weapon’ for ‘76. Some of them are hysterical. Now all I want is Beth to make these!!!
