So I tried to give fo76 a shot since it was on sale a few days ago. I have played both 3 and NV but never got to 4 since I couldn’t afford it back then.
So I got to the part where I had to learn the C.A.M.P. I was having a hard time making a simple door frame for the house since I had no experience in building one. Suddenly a player comes by and starts greeting me in voice chat (never knew there was voice chat) he started basically teaching me the basic rundown on how to play the game like gain exp, where to get fusion cores (i got a t-45 armor from a nearby camp north of vault 76) and then he basically gave me workshops for armor, weapons and set up electricity for lighting for the house.
I’ve been playing games for as long as I can remember but i’ve never witnessed such kindness from a veteran player before. I was suddenly more hyped to grind at the game that any other multiplayer game before.
I’m only level 30 but that act of kindness made me love fallout even more. Wishing all newbies such as myself that same level of camaraderie.
