Replaying this game on PC after a number of years and have come across an explosion glitch that severely lags the game. I've encountered it in Hallucigen and the station near Vault 114.

Essentially what happens, during a gun fight, something on the map will explode and not stop, the sound runs through the entirety of that portion of the game no matter how far away from the explosion I go, it only stops when the game loads into a new area.

Once this glitch happens, I lag until I move away from it and it makes that portion of the game relatively unplayable.

Anyone encountered this before? Or have any ideas?

I'm on PC, playing via Xbox Game Pass.
