I have one complaint about Survival mode, and it's not the saving system.

I get having locations not appear on the compass until you're much closer than before for the most part. You don't know where it is, why should you be able to see it on the compass?
However, after you discover a location the mechanic remains. Why? Your character knows where it is. There's no reason I shouldn't know where the Sanctuary compass maker is when I'm standing on the bridge to Sanctuary.
