Where have you built your primary house, how's it looking?

I started with homeplate but shortly realized that there was a pretty severe limit on what I could and couldn't build, moved from there to the castle, realized there wasn't enough room for me in the armory and former bedroom then finally moved to sanctuary where I'm feeling pretty dissatisfied. Looking for any sort of inspiration.
