I was in the SE section of the commonwealth just casually exploring, still new to this section of the map. I run across what seemed to be a small settlement of mutants. I counted 3 super mutants, 1 brute, 1 legendary and two hounds. I knew I had to play my cards right if I planned on walking away without dying. So I began to tag each one in order to keep track of their whereabouts while I engage.

I begin the fight by sniping one of the mutants with the sneak multiplier. Next thing I know there are rockets flying at me! Feeling like Neo in The Matrix, dodging rockets left and right I realize both the legendary and the brute have Missile Launchers. I'm shitting myself. I can't catch a breathe to try and retaliate as they're relentlessly trying to reactant fourth of July celebrations. Dogmeat is completely occupied by the hounds and the super mutants are advancing on my position. I'm fucked.

Then out of nowhere RANDY ORTON.....nah I'm just kidding, a fucking vertibird appears out of nowhere and begins gunning the mutants! The mutants start firing back, rockets flying in all directions! Two BoS members in Power Armor jump out of the vertibird looking like parachuters and begin unleashing hell onto the mutants. Bullets, missiles, grenades, explosions everywhere I look!

I've stopped shooting. I'm just sitting there in disbelief at what I'm witnessing. Felt like a set off a movie.

Eventually the mutants end up killing both the BoS members and I make quick work of what's left. It was by far my most memorable Fo4 experience thus far. Thank you to the BoS for saving my ass, your dogtags shall sit on my dresser in Sanctuary to commemorate your service and I will make good use of the Power Armor that was left behind.

This game exceeded all my expectations. I'm so immersed in this world, I wish the entire map was never ending. I would be happy playing this game for the next 10 years.
