Let me start with saying Fallout 3 was the first Fallout game I ever played, and it is without a doubt my #1 favorite game in existence. I have played and beaten this game alone more times than I can count.
Every year I usually pick this game back up and run another playthrough for old times sake. Regardless of all the FNV nerds that say this game is awful, I disagree in every way I can express. (FNV is still good though, don't get me wrong.) This game and world has shaped me in such a way I could never begin to explain how much this series has meant to me, and to finally see it on the screen has absolutely brought so much happiness to me.
I'm sure others here feel similarly, and to see a game we've been so passionate about for so long to be taken seriously and actually produce a good product of a show has been such a overwhelming and emotional experience for me.
I love Fallout, and I am brought to tears over how happy I am to see this come to fruition. I just wanted to share how important Fallout 3 was in my life, and how happy I am to see a show do a fairly faithful representation of a world that is so dear to me. Granted I only finished the first episode, but already I am so happy with what I've seen and I hope it continues.
Just wanted to share how I felt as this has been very surreal for me and had to express it. Thank you to this game and community for shaping my life in such a profound way. You are all incredible Lone Wanderers, and I hope to see you all in the wasteland.
