I’m replaying NV for the first time in about 5 years. It’s a dream, better than I remembered it, such an amazing game to come back to after so long.

But in this playthrough, I feel like the Legion Assassins are spamming me so much more than they ever used to.

They’ll come up to me, ‘Caesar has marked you to death’, I take a few attempts to kill them, and then I will walk down the road for maybe 2-3 minutes and they’re back. Sometimes they’ll just start shooting, sometimes they’ll run up to me, run around for a bit and then turn hostile.

Today, I was walking southeast out of Novac and three groups came up to me in sequence about 1 minute after I’d (eventually) taken care of them.

Was it always like this? I really feel like this isn’t right. I swear I used to kill them and they’d take a good 12-16 in game hours to come back at least.
