As the title suggests, I bought a grab bag of fly tying supplies from Cabela’s. I just started both fly fishing and tying. Despite my noobness, most of the stuff I know what to use it for. Some things, however have me baffled. I’m hoping you can help me clear that up.

There’s a complete rabbit face with ears. It’s too small to use as a Halloween mask, but I’ve never seen any reference to one in any of the flytying videos or books I’ve seen. What’s it for?

Also, there’s a bunch of miscellaneous pieces of dyed rabbit fur. I’m assuming that to use these, I’d need to cut them into strips for use on streamers, correct? Is there a good way to do that?
