Delta had a hiring event for Logan airport in Boston and I heard they were really desperate for help. I came in and they interviewed me, as soon as I walked out the room they offered me a job position (this is all for ramp by the way) which I thought was red flag one.
I also haven’t completed my flight training and I know delta doesn’t really care about that, whatever hours they need you to fill they need you to fill. On interview day and from seeing other delta executives throughout the hiring event I asked about their propel program and no one really had an answer for it which concerns me as well.
Aside from that I bartend right now, and taking an $18/hr wage for the ramp in Boston would be a significant pay cut, not to mention my schedule has flexibility at the bar and it’s at night so I’m able to do my flight training and use this job to pay for it.
I was really excited initially to go but I’m starting to second guess a bit, or do you guys think this is a good opportunity and I should put things aside and accept it?
