I’m currently a senior at the college I attend which has a flight problem. I was undecided for two years until switching to aviation my junior year. I am now a senior going for instrument rating but next semester I can graduate with the 120 credits.
Would it be more logical to graduate this spring with a Bachelors of Arts then continue my CPL and flight instructors at a local part 141 school? It would be cheaper as I would just have to pay for flight training and not tuition.
Is there really a difference or benefit to flying at a college compared to a part 141? From what I’ve seen the only jobs that require a bachelors are ATP type jobs and that the college programs are more expensive?
