Obviously it all depends on the hiring environment at the time, but historically, how would regionals/LCCs view someone with several thousand hours of TT, but all of it piston time (large majority ME if that makes a difference). Basically, I’m not in a hurry to leave a current job to go to the airlines. By the time I’ll be ready, I anticipate having at least 4000 TT. Hoping about 2500 hours of that will be ME. But it will all be piston time. Also have my ATP already.
Just trying to gauge if historically there’s any chance of skipping a regional for a LCC, or if the regional FO to CA to Major route is the most probable route.
