Need to actually finish PPL and then ????
Post Body

So here's the situation past to present:

For my 17th Bday my folks gave me flying instruction. It was going great and I loved it. So much that I applied and got excepted to Vincennes University (2year) to transition to Purdue (2year) in Aeronautical Science. Was ready and eager to go. Accumulated 18 or 20 hours of flight and ground school time. Then (1996) PPL was only 40hrs. I think? Got into ao trouble at school and folks cut the flight school at the local airport. Still determined after get accepted to school that we went for orientation I had all my financial aid paperwork sent inapproved as well as housing. I had even met my roommate at orientation he was going into same program and we clicked.

After high school grad folks (mom and step dad) split up and mom and I were both working like mad to get by. School time came and went and I didn't go. Noones fault but my own.

The following Oct ('98) enlisted in the USAF ended up in ACFT MXS (Fuel shop-Mx no Pol) throughout the next nearly 20yrs I snagged another 4-6 hours I. The air with 3-5 different CFI's. So have a total of 26hours. And have my log book.

I am Retired from USAF now since 2014, divorced for 3 years, sold the house and farm between jobs voluntarily. Currently on a "walkabout" visiting a few friends and family trying to figure out which direction to go. Really want to finish and get my PPL, IFR and maybe go on to get my CFI.

My real bucket list job though is to air application. (Crop dusting) been a commercial spray applicator for about 20 years actively and a private since 1996. I know all the addition requirements but dont know how to get my foot in the door even as a groundman. And I do also have cdl-a with Tanker and Hazmat.

If there are any CFI or CFIi out there currently doing Air Application and willing to take on a 45yr, Fit, Retired Mil, Spray Rig operator, with extensive Ranching, logistics, and mechanical abilities, I've never been in a better situation to go where ever I need to. Love to travel. Nothing tying me to anywhere at the moment.

Currently in NW Florida for a couple days the headed back up through MS, TN, and West KY. After headed back towards KCMO where I currently have my address and camper. Figured what the hell I might as well see what comes up. TIA

Very Respectfully, Retired & willing to work
