Newer, 136hr PPL here flying a 172 and occasionally a 182. Still in training (on to instrument). I planned on going to my home town with less busy airspace and taking my old friends flying. I called the local school and they said Iād need to checkout with an instructor.
What exactly should I expect? Also how long does this usually take?
Ask the flight school. I got signed off on a 172 just doing a sightseeing flight and 3 landings. Most places want at least 3 landings and some emergency procedures. But just ask.
