Can someone please explain the process of CASA-FAA license conversions and getting a job in the US (NOT airlines)?
Post Body

Long story short I'm having issues with my medical and it's looking like I'm not gonna be able to fly solo here in Australia.

Will my CASA medical carry over to the FAA? If so, then there's no point in me coming to the US as I wouldn't be allowed to fly solo there either.

I only just finished my training so I dont meet airline requirements. I have about 250 hours total with a CPL MEIR.

All the guides I've seen have been ATP / airline guides and I cannot find anything on GA jobs in the US.

Looking at pilotsglobal I can't seem to find a single company that will sponsor a visa, so how do I go about that?

Furthermore, looking at license conversion I'm seeing nothing but ATP stuff. What about CPL MEIR? What schools in the US offer this service?

Appreciate any help in advance.
