Title says it. I've long held the legacy carriers as my ultimate career goal, and even interned at one while pursuing my degree. Now I'm at a regional and some of my friends/colleagues have gone to NetJets and they all say it's awesome from a QOL standpoint.
I never really gave 135 a real look when I was in training so I'm not sure I have a great base of knowledge to make a decision from now. I'm on reserve right now and am also not loving that I don't know my schedule until bids are awarded near the end of the month. I have a wife and toddler with another on the way, and really wondering if the 7 on/7 off would be better for my kids childhoods.
For those who've made the switch from 121 to 135 or vice versa, what were some of the factors that influenced your decision, and would you do it again? What did you wish you knew before making the move?
