Hi everyone!
I would like to get some suggestions from fellow pilot. I have been working in tech as software engineer for a while but the job does not excite me anymore. Since childhood I want to become pilot but due to some circumstances I couldn’t follow it. I have been looking at flight schools and airline associates program to get started with it. Although, It seems like that airlines associated flying programs is a good deal but then they are required $100k for completion. I’m not looking to spend that kind of money. Are they flight schools which will help through financial aids or financing the program? Also, I saw on news that this the best time to become a pilot due shortages and pilots retirement waves. Also, would I need a degree in aviation to help me land a better job? Also, I just got laid off from my job so I think this will help achieve my dream!
Thank you for your response and advice.
