I am not sure who to ask for the following question as I am interested in getting employment in the airline sector. Which employees are allowed to gain the free to heavily discounted tickets when working in the airline?

I have talked to some service represented and they discussed people such as baggage or air hostesses positions get this benefit. However, are there other positions the reason is I have a background in finance and if I get a job as an analyst or maybe I don't know entry level position for finance at Qantas or Virgin; would I be allowed to gain these benefit?

They discussed that I have to be direct employed by the airline.
