Size 06 Flies on a 5WT Rod/Reel?

Bought a 5WT Rod/Reel Combo to get started in fly fishing. However I am noticing that I much prefer to use 06-08 sized flies for my presentation. Can I still achieve this?
If I upgrade the line to a 6WT, will that have any issues on my 5WT rod?
Also, what if I upgrade to a high end 5WT line that is a size and a half up (Like the SA Mastery MDX) instead of going with a 6WT line?
