I’m thinking about getting a 3wt or lighter, and was looking for any suggestions on a rod that isn’t on the expensive side. I currently use a 5wt, and it’s a lot of fun, but I’d like to try something lighter. It would mainly be used for panfish. I target big bluegill, also sunfish and crappie and bass and pike are always a possibility. I want quality, but I don’t want to spend several hundred dollars on an orvis either. Does anyone have some suggestions for a quality 3wt or lighter? I’ve never used a rod that light. Attached is a pic of the type of fish in target.
