This thought got me thinking a lot recently. I mostly see people being strict with rules and the submissive needing permission to touch oneself and dare I say, grab the dominant and be affectionate... All this being sub's own initiative.

How do you manage the Simple day-to-day vanilla urges?
For example: The guy showing affection or just kissing the girl randomly, grabbing the girl's butt for no reason, or any other acts of love or a feminine urge like being lifted into arms.(don't mean to cross lines but just visualising)

Undoubtedly, not all Dommes are same. Some might have these urges and some might not. Every FLR has its own rules for these. But then, I have no real life experience with FLR which makes me wonder about the vanilla cravings. It's like.. a non-vegetarian would still crave for good vegetarian food. When I think about being submissive guy in FLR, I don't relate with my switch side. I think I'd be a happy little sub pet. Then, What about the Domme's stereotypical feminine urges? Do Dommes in FLR don't feel such need?
I'd love to know your personal take on this. Primarily from the experienced ones.

Also(my thoughts), is it possibile or should I say reasonable for an arrangement of 5 months of FLR and 1 month Vanilla lifestyle(or 11:1 or taking time off for a few days) Just to stay in touch with our soft/vanilla selves without second thoughts? Or should FLR be a complete FLR and serve it's purpose.

PS :This isn't about switching roles. (It's a given that FLR is basically about power dynamics and the superior female having the final say. Physical acts/service don't define FLR by itself.)
