Hello all!
Hope your well!
I have been reading the above book by Ms Rika, and must say I am a big fan of the book and theory and particularly behind this!
I did want to hear some of the opinions from others who have read the book, and if anyone had essentially used this book in bringing up the idea with their partner (I am male, so would be hopefully bringing this up one day with a future partner).
I understand that the idea behind this is that is isn't about the S&M side of D/s, but I imagine they are inherently linked and most people who did want the type of submission in this book, would still have some wants/desires related to S&M.
Any questions!
Do you find the book to be a good source of learning for both genders and with the correct goals?
If you have/had approached your partner with this, how did it go? (I ask as, I imagine if you took this to a partner that had shown little interest in anything outside of vanilla, they would run for the hills)
What would you add to the book that is not included?
How have you found getting around "obstacle" such as work patterns whilst also spending enough time together?
Are the other books by Ms Rika worth reading? Or any other resources you recommend?
I would love to know more about everyones unique style of relationship, if you are happy to share or DM, as I will likely have follow up questions!
I naturally assume from my own body, that withholding orgasm's is paramount to the situation (maybe it's more that I view this as important to my submission to others), if the dominant is more "vanilla", does this cause issues with concept?
I live in a Norfolk, UK which is quite small compared to most other areas, so I suppose I'm looking for a little bit of hope about the future :).
