Hi everyone! Wanted to describe some of my symptoms and get your opinions on whether they could be related to a cipro toxic reaction.

[28 y.o.] I was prescribed 500mg cipro twice a day for 7 days for a suspected UTI / kidney infection. While I was taking it, things seemed totally fine. However, a week after I stopped taking it, I’ve started having anxiety symptoms. Now 3 weeks after stopping my course, I’ve developed severe anxiety issues that have persisted for 5 days straight along with rapid heart rate and blood pressure jumping up and down, numbness in the head and, periodically, arms. Doctor said the nervous system looks fine at first glance, so we’re mostly looking into EKG results and further heart testing for possible arrhythmia. I’ve not been able to eat well or get enough sleep after these non-stop anxiety symptoms started. The first 2.5 weeks were fine, and now I’m scared that my anxiety is feeding a self-perpetuating loop.

Does this look like a cipro toxicity symptom or am I just overthinking it?
