Keeping A Lit Leviwand Balanced: How do?

Hello! I have used a variety of LED and unlit wands and have no trouble getting them to maintain a straight, up and down verticality when in motion.
However, whenever I light up my six wick leviwand, it just REALLY wants to be horizontal. That's its summer home, that's where it wants to be.
I've tried soaking the bottom more than the top to mixed results and will probably just weigh it down but I'm curious if this is a general experience or just user error? Let me know what you guys think 🤷♀️
