Hi. I am a 30s woman, I live in Miami. I've been active in the Florida r4r subs for a few years. Learned many hard lessons. We need to find a way to lessen the damage that can be done by the hookup culture, and educate others on anything and everything that will help them stay safe and properly cautious. Soon I'm going to link a couple posts from both my accounts that will help explain what led me to starting this subreddit.

But I'm really unfamiliar with mod stuff and running a sub. Any help or advice, or willingness to moderate, would really help get this sub going. I want to prevent anyone I can from suffering, from permanent mistakes, from risking their safety and health for something that isn't worth the potential consequences.

Also, maybe this sub or a sister sub - there needs to be a safer alternative to floridar4r and the like. But it's going to take me a while to get this going, let alone another one. Need help. I had problems before I got into that hookup scene and now I have many more. My mental and physical health aren't great right now.

So please! All you reddit savvy folk. Help me. We have to make it safer and spread the word.

This sub is going to take more time to develop than usual. I have never done this and I've got a lot going on. Please keep checking back. I'm not going to stop trying to make things better. But it'll take some time.
