My dad and I are planning a trip March 11-14, 2017. We will be looking to fish the 12th and 13th. Would ideally like a full day on the flats for permit and a day offshore for sailfish, cobia, etc. We were looking to stay in Florida City and drive down to Islamorada. We have previously done a bunch of tarpon fishing out of Key West but are looking for something different this time. Can anyone help me out with what would be best for us to target during that time and who to use? I've had some pretty bad luck my past few Keys trips with bad guides so any help is greatly appreciated.
