1st time filing for unemployment, need some help

so I sent an paper application for unemployment around april 13 since I heard online has been causing issues for people. Just yesterday I got my 1st check in the mail that was issued May 18. My job hasn't told me an exact date when we'll reopen other than soon. Do I need to send another application to continue getting a check or will I keep receiving one in the mail? Is it recommended to do an application online?
