To clarify, I'm mostly referring to situations when the left lane is clear, but people will choose to go into the right lane to pass for whatever reason. I do understand it's extremely frustrating when people use the left lane to slowly go about their day, so I'm not blaming people in situations like that. I don't have an issue with the speeding. I'm usually doing 80‐85 mph on the freeway, and I only use the left lane for passing like intended. My issue is with people that drive like maniacs swerving in and out of traffic while cutting people off just to get one car length ahead. It puts innocent families in danger, and it's not necessary. I wish people would just chill a little bit, is all.

There is a brief merge along 441 a few miles from my house. It is clearly designated a thousand feet in advance. The frequency at which people who wait until the merge is just a few feet from closing into the single lane to then leave the left-hand lane behind you, punch it as they drive on to the shoulder to pass you and force their way into whatever space exists between you and car in front of you only to end up at the same traffic light 1000 yards ahead tells me all I need to know about humanity when accountability is unlikely.
