I’m planning on remodeling this entire house as it in really bad shape (cosmetically).
Removing wall between living room and dining room (structural engineer will be coming out to make a report on if wall is load bearing or not - pretty sure it’s not.
Removing the bathtub (it’s not code in this area to have a bathtub and I’m not worried about resale)
Adding a master bathroom to primary bedroom (and a power room area just before entering the bathroom - where the closet use to be)
Kitchen will have an island, but that’s not noted here
Incase anybody is wondering I used CubiCasa for the current floor plan and Photoshop for the remodel version.
Thoughts?
Bump the wall between the primary bedroom and bathroom to the left so it’s even with the closet/entrance. That weird jog in the wall is wasted space. Add a separate wall so the toilet can be used without occupying the entire bathroom.
