So the wife and I are new to the area. I can't for the life of me get her to eat inside the Flint city limits because she is worried that they cook the food with the same water they're not supposed to be drinking. I've explained to her that there are probably filtration systems on the water lines in the restaurants and other precautions are probably being taken. The way I see it the food can't be a problem if the restaurants are still open, serving, and passing Health inspections.
Are there any restaurant owners in this sub that can elaborate on food preparation procedures in Flint, please? Or, anyone else that has any information that I can pass along to ease my wife's fears, so that I can explore some of the amazing looking restaurants in Flint, feel free to chime in.
