MSFS no longer detecting controllers after Sim Update 5? Anyone else having this issue on PC?

Earlier today my controller worked fine, even after I updated to the newest update. All of a sudden I start the Sim now and I cannot get a controller to be detected at all. When I unplug it and plug it back in I get a crash. Damn update literally broke the whole game on me.
