Aerosoft CRJ700

Hi everyone, I've been eyeing the CRJ as my first true airliner simply because in real life it flies into my local home airports. I've seen a lot of positive and negatives and I am just curious if you guys recommend it as a first airliner. Or perhaps would a different aircraft serve better as a first airliner?
I have a bazillion hours flying G.A. but never truly got into airliners, I'm thinking now might be the time.
