Do you guys think it was literally just the pilot messing with people?!

Now I'm not an ATP captain or first officer so I'm not exactly sure how the aircraft PA system works, but it sounds as if the pilot may accidentally be broadcasting 121.5 or the guard frequency to the cabin. Guard is notorious for having weirdos say very random things and then getting yelled at by Delta capts. I'm not sure if he can broadcast a com 2 radio directly to the PA system from the flight deck, but it absolutely seems like the weird things you fine on Guard.
