Hi! Iām currently an FA with a very large U.S based airline and I want to branch into learning a new language! Pre pandemic we had tons of trans-pacific flying, especially to South Korea and China. Iām looking into these two as they are the most different from what Iām used to and I really do like the culture! I would say I am more immersed into the Korean language due to Kdramas and tv shows. Learning mandarin would also be cool bc my boyfriend is Chinese and I would love to be able to hold a basic conversation but at the same time who knows when China flying would be open again. š¤·šæāāļø
If anyone has ever learned a language that is completely different from what they grew up speaking plz give me some advice. Also are you language qualified and any tips for the journey.
