Lately there have been quite a few articles about when is it appropriate for passengers to use the call button. Apparently Sarah Nelson stated it's only to be used for emergencies only which has caused a serious debate in the comments. Passengers using the call button to get my attention doesn't bother me at all except during a flight to Paris and the parents let their 4 children use it for entertainment (they were at least 6 to 8). I don't know why I went to the comments in the articles because they made my blood boil. Back in the day the airline industry not only had weight requirements but a specific look as well. So many comments stated "flight attendants are rude, lazy obese" and more. One comment even said domestic airlines need to model after Asia airlines quantas emirates etc. I know I know who cares what people think? Just because I'm not a size 2,4, or 6 doesn't mean I can't pull out a window for an evacuation. If a passenger ever picked up my suitcase they'd grunt like the shuttle driver does. I can push that heavy a** cart filled with coke products and the same snacks which they'd know if they'd take their earbuds out to listen when I'm telling what we have.
Y'all I know we have some flight attendants who are rude and lazy but it's not all of us. We ALL deal with the bs of angry passengers, long work days, reroutes, short overnights..... I am proud to be one of you no matter what airline you work for
End of my rambling rant
