Been on a (Bank) Heist Movie Kick Lately, What Other Flicks Should I Watch?
Post Body

I hurt my back recently, and have been on bed-rest for the last few days. Though not planned, I realized that the last couple of movies I've watched (Marmalade & Inside Man) have been Bank heist flicks. I'm currently watching Dog Day Afternoon and I wanna keep this impromptu streak goin'... what would y'all recommend? 🤔 I was thinkin' Heat.

I'll take any & all recommendations, as I welcome the conversation. What's your favorite heist flick? Mine is probably Reservoir Dogs.

EDIT After siftin' through and talkin' with y'all for a while, I have my watchlist compiled. I'm gonna get back to my marathon/rest now, but here are 15 films recommended by you all that I will be watching sooner rather than later.

• The Asphalt Jungle (1950) • Rififi (1955) • Grand Slam (1967) • A Man Called Sledge (1970) • The Doberman Gang (1972) • The Getaway (1972) • Charlie Varrick (1973) • The Friends of Eddie Coyle (1973) • The Great Train Robbery (1978) • The Silent Partner (1978) • Quick Change (1990) • Killing Zoe (1993) • Jackie Brown (1997) • Dragged Across Concrete (2018) • The Vault (2021)

I'll return to this post (in time) with ratings and my thoughts, but if you feel so inclined to keep up with me (in real-time), you can follow my Letterboxd account. Where I'll post my actual thoughts on each film. Thanks everyone!! 🙌🏽
