What Oscar "Win" Officially Turned you OFF the Oscars
Post Body

Growing up wanting to be an actor and wanting to have my Oscar moment, and being naive to think only the best won the awards...that moment came ahem...crashing down....when Crash won Best Picture. Once that happened, I knew officially that this wasn't an award for what was truly the best film. It was agenda driven.

Oh...and you can add Kim Basinger over Jullianne Moore in Boogie Nights and Tom Hooper over David Fincher's Social Network.

Comments

I'd say that Aftersun not getting a nomination last year permanently removed all of my trust in the Oscars.
