Questions before my first time

I recently bought my first Fleshlight, the classic pink lady. I am hoping to use it for the first time this week. I have a bucket so I can submerge the sleeve in warm water first. I have some Wicked Aqua lube. I also have a small spray bottle for water to help keep things moist. Is there something I can put on top of the sleeve to keep it submerged? Do I put the sleeve into the holder wet? Or do I dry it off somehow first? Do you have any other tips for a first timer? Thank you.
