I'm looking for a decent quality light for reading in bed next to my sleeping wife. I was given a clip on book light for Christmas, but the housing was a thin white plastic which ended up casting nearly as much light back up at my face as it did down at the book, and the light has a pretty nasty cool-blue tone to it which won't do me any favors before sleep.
I would love to find something that has multiple settings, with a warm tone and a firefly mode that is suitable for reading in near darkness. Basically everything that my Wizard Pro provides at it's lower settings, but without the form factor and weight that comes with a 18650 lamp.
Battery type doesn't matter too much, but lighter weight is preferable.
Cost is a factor, if it gets up to about half the cost of a Kindle Paperwhite, then it may make more sense to just go that route.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
