BLF A6 Cant change memory mode/battery check

Newly acquired BLF A6 from banggood, using 2250Mah PANASONIC CGR 18650 battery with it. Fully charged. When I go into config mode the torch doesn't blink like it is supposed to. Also when I try to check battery it doesn't blink. Any help? Thanks. Here is a video of the issue
