Fixing Star Trek Discovery
Post Body

Concept

  • First of all CBS should publicly announce that this new series takes place in the prime timeline and is a visual reboot only, made for modern day audiences. Things will look more modern-futuristic, using new concepts that were not available during the 60s.
  • Things based on currently available tech like touch screen, widescreen, wireless technology, holograms, computer A.I, will be used
  • Every thing that happened or will happen in prime timeline canon has happened or will happen.

Setting

  • The series will take place 10 years before Kirk was in command of the Enterprise.

Production & Design

  • Klingons will look the way they did During TNG, DS9, VOY era, with update bodily features and costume design that takes influences from Predator and Dragonball Z. Yes, Dragonball Z.
  • Some Klingons will have "cool" dreadlocks giving them a kind of "Predator" look, Some older Klingons with high social status will sport long, rugged, or spiky, black or white hair that gives them a more "super saiyan 3 or 5" look. Some are bald.
  • Klingons with important positions in society and military are expected to be versed in the Federation Lingua Franca.
  • Ship designs will look like those made by Madkoifish. Look it up.

Story

  • USS Discovery, a survey ship deep into unsurveyed space gets attacked by an unseen foe. Heavily Damaged and no way to contact StarFleet, narrowly escapes unknowingly deeper into Klingon Space.
