So I was thinking about what a Good Ghostbusters movie would have been like:

basically it should have started with Egon's funeral and the guys all broken up, Winston saying he didn't want to bust ghosts without him, Ray worrying about what if they bus him, and Venkman worrying about how he's going to make money. Then he gets a smirk on his face, with a bright idea. Cut to opening credits.

Next you have someone else opening a package, it's their Ghostbuster franchise kit. And now they get to bust ghosts, only caveat, not in NYC.

And because Venkman likes money but is lazy, theres no support from the original team.

Shenanigans insue.

Next thing you know theres a huge Ghost problem and also sources lead to NYC, the two teams have to team up and maybe Egon's ghost helps them out at the end.
