Thank You Scott
Post Body

I don't know wether to post this here or on the Scott Games subreddit, so I'm doing both and see what happens

I don't know if Scott still looks at this subreddit, but I want to get this out where he could see it. I was 12 when the first game came out, back in 2014. I had just lost my brother a few months before and it was my first real experience with loss, so I had never really been told how to deal with it properly. I started trying to cling to things to keep my mind off it, and that's when Markiplier posted his first ever Fnaf video. I loved it, but it started to fall to the side like everything else had... until the second game came out. I like it just as much as the first game, if not more... and then at the end of the 5th night, you see the nightguards name. He had the same name as my brother! (Jeremy). I had this feeling that somehow, Scott knew what had happened and wanted to help me feel better. I know that possibility is unlikely, as it was just a coincidence, but tell that to a grieving 12 year old who's never dealt with loss before. Then, later on down the road, making one of the ghost children's name "Jeremy" as well just hit me even harder. It's because of that incidental connection to the series that I've gotten to where I am, and gotten into what I like. It's because of Fnaf that I'm getting better at drawing and writing. Fnaf has been a huge influence on my life, and all I can say about it is... Thank you, Scott.
