This was a thread i made a few weeks ago, it didn't get much attention, but there was little positive or negative mentioned, so i'd like to bring it up again in hopes for more discussion for or against it.
I know it's a little strange to think of 4 coming after 1, considering a lot of evidence is portrayed that it takes place before or during FNaF 2 (whether you're 83-87).
But what if we're wrong, and Instead of FNaF 4 being a prequel of FNaF 1 and possibly two, but rather, a sequel to FNaF 1, and a prequel to 3? And what does this do to the storyline?
Well, if FNaF 4 is placed ahead of one, it means the bite cannot be the bite of 87, or 83.
It also means the suits used are probably not springlocks, but rather, suits that have the parts taken out of them. we see almost a whole endoskeleton removed from suits and in pieces, along with a suit laying on the ground in the back. The animatronic arm also only has four fingers, meaning it wouldn't be a springlock, as springtrap clearly has animatronic parts through all five fingers of his hand.
We also never see the suits active and walking around without people inside of them, and the only one's without never move from the stage. These animatronics clearly do not have the capability to walk on their own.
Also note, if the animatronics COULD walk on their own, the girl outside probably shouldn't be fazed that the animatronics wander at night, if they already do so during the day, on their own. Remember in the book, (and yeah yeah, book's not canon, but this fits) Charlie state's it was VERY easy to tell when there was a performer in the suits, and when there was no performer.
There's more in the thread i posted, but i just figured that i'd add some more and see what people think.
